Kitty Knits, Kitty Crochets
Hey my name is Steven. Some of my friends call me Kitty. I'm 19 and a busy college student who likes to knit/crochet when I have breaks. This is a blog that will post about anything knitting/crocheting related. I will also try to post things that I find outside of Tumblr that I think are kinda cool.

One of my favorite taxidermy! Love his little carrot too. Made by Begnaud, find more here: www.etsy.com/shop/bybegnaud
I’ve relisted my Sleepy Owl Amigurumi listing in my shop. He’s made-to-order now (with an estimated turn-around of 12 weeks due to the size of my queue) and you can request any of the colors of yarn shown in the second image. The third image shows some examples of possible color combinations using this yarn from my Hippo.
Also, if you have thoughts of other colorful critters that could debut in my shop using this yarn, feel free to let me know. This particular yarn is slightly smaller and a different texture than my usual items, so it’s uses are a little more limited for me.
(I take no credit for the design of this item; the pattern is by irenestrange on Etsy and can be purchased here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/60572937/rupert-the-owl-amigurumi-pattern. The owls photographed were created by me.)
Little chikorita here was my first completed crochet pattern so he holds a special place in my heart (especially considering he was my starter of choice in Silver all those years ago). For a first project I am pretty proud of this guy, however it would have been nice if I could have found some more accurate colours for the yarn.
This pattern was created by Wolfdreamer and can be found here along with many other patterns.
DISCLAIMER: I know nothing about photography or lighting
I got asked about my picture-taking setup awhile back, so here are some pics! It’s nothing fancy, just three pieces of white foamboard. The standing piece is made so it folds flat. I’m just using the overhead incandescents for lighting in these pictures - natural lighting tends to look better, but sometimes you only have time to take pictures at night.
Cal sucks, he can’t make a peacock stand with poseable wires. (He needs more practice, and birds suck at standing.) I feel bummed out that I failed this project so badly. :C
Anyway, it is squashing the catnip.
